Real Conversations. Honest Answers. No Pressure.
Reaching out for help is one of the hardest—and most important—steps you can take. At Pivot, we make that easier.
Whether you’re a young man ready for change, a parent trying to find the right next step for your son, or a professional looking to refer a client, we're here to talk. No scripts, no pressure—just real people who care, and who understand what early recovery looks like.

What to Expect When You Call Pivot Transitional Living
We know how overwhelming this process can be. That’s why our admissions calls are grounded in clarity, compassion, and respect.
When you reach out, we’ll:
- Listen first. You'll speak directly with Pivot's Co-owner & Executive Director, Daniel Barrasso. You can share your story and goals in your own words.
- Explain our program clearly—from daily routines to clinical support, academics, and life skills, or whatever interests you.
- Help you figure out if Pivot is a fit for you or your loved one.
- Walk you through the next steps if you choose to move forward.
- Coordinate with referring professionals, if applicable, to support continuity of care.
We won’t push. We won’t overpromise. We’ll simply offer honest, direct guidance about what we do—and whether it meets your needs.
Our Transitional Living Community in Tucson
Our program is designed for young men who:
Are in recovery from substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorders
Have recently completed residential treatment, wilderness therapy, or IOP
Are looking for structure, support, and a chance to build a life in recovery
May want to finish high school, start or continue college, or explore a career
Are open to a 12-step model, clinical support, and life skills development
If that sounds like you or someone you care about, we’d love to connect.

What We Can Help You Understand
We’ll help you get answers to questions like:
- What does a typical day at Pivot look like?
- How much freedom do residents have?
- How do your phases of care work?
- What kind of therapy do you provide?
- Is Pivot right for someone with anxiety, depression, or ADHD?
- How do academics and college enrollment fit into the program?
- What does the transition out of Pivot look like?
We know the big picture matters—but so do the details.
Talk to Someone Who Gets It
The Pivot team is made up of people who genuinely understand the recovery process. Many of us have walked it ourselves as alumni of Pivot, or supported loved ones through it. We know what it’s like to feel uncertain, hopeful, afraid, relieved—sometimes all at once. In that storm, we’re here to offer clarity and connection. Whether you’re calling from across the country or just down the road, we're ready to listen.
Let’s Find Out What’s Possible
The right next step can make all the difference. At Pivot, we help young men take that step—into recovery, into responsibility, and into a life they can be proud of.
