Recovery at Pivot Transitional Living
Our Pillars of Pivot
Recovery doesn’t stop when treatment ends. That’s why we’ve built our program around a few simple but powerful ideas that help young men stay on the path to recovery—but also, to grow into the people they want to become. These core pillars guide everything we do and help make lasting change possible.
Recovery Pillar One: Recovery
We’re rooted in the 12-Step model. Residents attend regular meetings, connect with sponsors, and take active service roles in the recovery community. It’s not just about checking a box on a court card; it’s about building habits and fostering a fellowship that lasts.
Recovery Pillar Two: Clinical Support
Residents meet regularly with licensed, experienced therapists who understand how addiction and mental health often go hand in hand. Therapy happens one-on-one and in groups, and families are part of the process, too. It’s about learning how to cope—and how to grow.
Recovery Pillar Three: Life Skills
Cooking. Budgeting. Job interviews. Managing your time. We cover all the everyday stuff that no one teaches you in school—but that makes a huge difference when you’re trying to live on your own and stay grounded. Whether you're finishing high-school, starting college, or stepping into a new job, we've got you supported to the end.
Recovery Pillar Four: Hobbies & Passion
Recovery is more than being sober. It's about rediscovering what brings you joy and contentment. What feeds your soul? Our job is to help you rediscover the authentic version of yourself. Whether it's through our Club System, trips abroad, or just hanging with the boys on a Saturday night. We'll help you develop a life worth living.
Changing Lives One Step at a Time
We’re not here to offer quick fixes. We’re here to help young men build something real: a life with structure, purpose, and community. Each pillar is just one piece of that process—but together, they form the foundation for real and lasting recovery. Sound like a fit for you or someone you love? Reach out.
